Growth Circle runs for 14 weeks and provides opportunities for women to connect with peers while working through topics related to experiences of domestic violence. Participants address topics such as: understanding domestic violence, effects of abuse, family of origin, shame and compassion, creating healthy support systems, building personal power and integrating new skills moving forward. Our services are free, confidential and community based.
14 evening sessions on a weekly basis, starting January 18, 2017 here at JFSC. All women & children are welcome, regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation or socio-economic status.
This program is facilitated by Sagesse in partnership with Jewish Family Service Calgary.
